[Closed] APK Signing problems
I am trying to package my game for google play and running into some problems:
1) It won't package directly. There doesn't seem to be any feature to sign your game for android in the editor.
2)If I try the methods listed here: https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?14902-How-to-sign-a-APK-file , it still won't build the apk for distribution. "This is it. This way you will sign your APK file so you can upload it to the Google Play Store and it will be signed." Sorry, but this is not it.
3)If I try to manually sign it using the methods listed at the bottom of this page: http://developer.android.com/tools/publishing/app-signing.html , then I get the error saying "invalid entry compressed size" when I am using jarsigner to assign the key to my apk.
I noticed I am not the only one with this problem. I also noticed that EPIC still doesn't have a confirmed solution or a feature or documentation on this issue which would be applicable to all variations of this same problem. I humbly request one.
