Material as Marquee in UMG

I have a problem when I apply a material in the marquee in a progressbar in my HUD. Basically when I apply a material instead of a texture the progressbar turns black. After some experiments I found that it shows only the emissive color. It’s as if the material were applied in the absence of light. The same happens in the Fill Image of Style. I wanted to apply the material M_Water_Ocean (which is in the starter content) in a progress bar while maintaining the effect of the waves. is it possible?
