[4.7 Preview 7] crashes every time i open my BPs/characters

Ive created new project from 3rd person template and added some BPs and characters from my 4.6.1 project. Then ive tryed to open 3rdPersonCharacter. Editor crashed. Same effect was when i`ve tryed to open other characters or some of my BPs

tryed this. no effect, editor crashes. Maybe, updating to preview 8 will fix that problem? Can`t check this now because of troubles with my internet connection

Hi Antomy,

There could be a compatibility issue with the version the .uasset were created in and the new project. Instead of creating a 4.7 project and adding 4.6.1 assets to it, try this:

  • Creating a 4.6.1 project

  • Add the assets

  • Then convert a copy of the project to 4.7.

Let me know if that works or not.

It is possible that it could fix it. Or you could wait to download the official release version of 4.7.0 which should be out relatively soon.
