I’m wondering how to set up different LODs in one fbx file in 3DS Max so I can import all in one go in UE4.

I’ve setup a simple tutorial over in my Forums post here that can help you with setting up LOD Meshes in 3Ds Max for UE4. Take a look and if you have any questions feel free to let me know.

- Make differents LOD with the same
pivot point. - Select all your mesh and make a
group. - Go in utilities panel and click
“more” and choice “Level of Detail”. - Click on “create New Set”
- Export your group (be carreful to
check “animations” in the FBX
properties).
