UHierarchicalInstancedStaticMeshComponent Editor Crash

I have a class that has a UHierarchicalInstancedStaticMeshComponent editor visible variable. When I try to add an instance to it from the editor it crashes.This use to be just an InstancedStaticMeshComponent. Is there anything I need to do to initialize it or is this a bug?
