Lighting issues

are those lights dynamic?

I’m making a staircase that will go up and down by hitting the switch. That part works fine. Since I was going to need better lighting conditions, I put in a lightmass character indirect detail volume around the stairs with a decent sized margin. It works perfectly with one exception. The Stair closest to the top part is darker than the rest. I don’t mind if there is a little bit of a seam between the BSP and the first stair, but that is WAY to much.

The two lights in the ceiling as well as the light on the wall really are lights. The selected volume is the lightmass character indirect detail volume. I’ve even made it bigger and it didn’t help. Any suggestions?

No. I didn’t think they needed to be since I’m using the special volume.

Seems like there is a similar problem

If it was that close I wouldn’t be complaining. lol
