Is dynamic proximity voice chat possible?

just out of curiosity. Is it possible to have a voice chat system where a player’s voice plays and follows its pawn;s location like any other game sound. or say another style where a players voice can be heard through loudspeaker type actors at certain locations.

Is that kind of thing supported or even feasible to add in?

Meh! thats not what I mean , I’ve read that before. I want the voices to have a location of origin. Like a ingame sound with players mic as audio source

You should use the functionality at-least, muting/unmuting is very important and one the strictest requirements in consoles for example. The only thing you have to do is to change how the sounds are played, this is a thing that you can easily customize from a source build or just re-implementing how the voice is played back.
