[4.7]Rendertaget shows wrong in UMG(On mobile)

As added a screenshot, a render target texture draws with strange pattern in mobile galaxy s3…

I used a material with unlit and texture connected to emissive color. In UMG, I used a image with the material I made above I said.

On PC, It works well, but I launched it on mobile, It draws like that.

I also tested with a few options that running with HDR and without HDR, texture options too(disabling support hdr)

Hello ,

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. When you say that you are using 4.7, are you using a preview or 4.7.0 or perhaps 4.7.1?
  2. Can you reproduce this in a clean project?
  3. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  4. Could you provide a screen shot of any blueprints involved in this issue?
  5. Could you provide the exact mobile device being used (Example: iPhone 5S)
  6. Could you provide the exact version of the OS that is being run on the device (Example: iOS 8.0.1)?
  1. I did on both versions.
  2. Yes.
  3. Steps
  • Create a widget blueprint that has a Image widget in it.
  • Create a material with unlit model that has a TextureSample connected to Emissive Color.
  • TextureSample uses a RenderTarget with default options.
  • Set a brush to the material(RTT) above.
  • Create a Hud to spawn the widget to add to a viewport.
  • Add a scene-capture component 2d to a camera.
  • Launch on a android phone.

I tested on my project and a clean project with starter-content.
Also showed a same result.

  1. added.

  2. Samsung Galaxy S3(3G)

  3. Android 4.3

I have the same problem!

Hello ,

I am unable to reproduce this issue on our end. Could you compare the steps that you took to reproduce this issue to ones provided above and let me know if there were any differences?

I did the same steps and in my project this problem exists.

Hello ,

After giving it another go I was able to reproduce this issue on our end. I have written up a report ( UE-11518) and I have submitted it to the developers for further consideration. I will provide updates with any pertinent information as it becomes available. Thank you for your time and information.

Make it a great day

Good, it was worth spending my time
