Is it possible to rotate a mesh in Matinee without affecting translation?

What I want is to basically set up a really simple animation using Matinee that has a lantern swing back and forth. The lantern also moves on its own using waypoints and a navmesh though, so I don’t want the translation to be set by the Matinee actor. Is it possible to keyframe just rotation in Matinee and allow that to loop while it’s going along its merry way following waypoints?
