UE4 excessive caching

I’ve found two places on my C:\ full of data which seems excessive and a reason why i have to keep deleting and moving stuff to stop my drive from filling up.

C:\Users"name"\AppData\Local\UnrealEngine (multiple versions of UE4 here) and
C:\Users"name"\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles"blahblahblah"\storage\temporary (where game data goes when launching html5 in firefox)

Howdy RAMDAC,

Thank you for reporting this issue that you have been running into. i am going to need a bit more information before I can fully investigate this issue. Would you be able to attach your DXdiag to this post? Also, if you follow this pathing: Program Files\Unreal Engine\Launcher\VaultCache, would there be any projects located in that location. If so, clearing those out should clear up a lot of space.

About how many projects do you currently have in your project browser? How many demo projects do you currently have downloaded (Shooter Game, Tappy Chicken, etc.)? These could also be eating up space on your drive.

Thanks and have a great day!

Ok i will check out all those folders and see what i can remove.

Thanks

Hey RAMDAC,

Just wanted to check in with you and see if deleting those folders has helped decrease space being used on you drive. please let me know when you get the chance so I can take the appropriate action require.

Thanks!

Yes, I went through and deleted what was uneccesary and have alot more space now.

Thanks

Howdy RAMDAC,

Glad to hear that the storage space issue has been resolved. If you happen to run into this issue in a later build of UE4, please be sure to reopen this issue so that I may be able to investigate further.

Thanks and have a great day!
