Size of a room

Hello,
I read that 1UU (Unreal Unit) equals 1cm. So if this is true, a room which has a width of 600UU should be 6 meters wide.
But when playing the game, that seems to be far too small, as you can see on this image:

The character used is the standard mesh for top-down games.
Is it possible that I have to “think bigger” for games? So, seem 6 meters just smaller in-game than they would in real world?
Can you give me an advise on how I could estimate the size of a room in UE4?

Additionally: I found this Level Design Content Examples | Unreal Engine Documentation
and think it could be quite helpful to have a look at the map in the editor.
Is there a download to this example somewhere which I just missed?

Thank you up-front.

The scale of the room vs. player seems correct, considering the height of that character is about 1.90cm. I would keep a reference object while modeling stuff. Keep in mind that camera FOV can also affect the perception of size.

You can find that level design map in Content Examples project, which you can download from Learn tab of the launcher.

Thank you very much. I added some simple objects now (some benches) and can clearly see what was the problem:
I planned the room to be much bigger than it was now in the end.
There should be enough space for a tablesoccer, a snack-automato and some chairs and sofas.
