Will the Marketplace Credit apply to those who have the "paid UDK Developer" license?

I didn’t see any reference to this anywhere yet. I received my UE4 license via a combination of being a paid UDK developer and being involved in the beta of UE4, and it was set to remain active through December, 2015.

Just for clarification below is a screenshot of the confirmation (information marked out):

It’s fantastic that UE4 has gone free, and that those paying for the license got refunds for the past month and whatnot, as I was the only member of my team who had this “complimentary” license, and felt bad for the others having to pay for their own copies.

But I saw that all UE4 licensees are getting these $30 marketplace credits, seemingly regardless of how long they were subscribed for. I can totally understand if my account is technically not eligible for such a credit, since I haven’t technically had to pay for my license, same reason I understand why I quite obviously don’t need any kind of refund, as I am not owed anything.

But I am curious if those of us with such licenses are eligible for the marketplace credit or not. I previously had an issue where the site didn’t recognize me as an active subscriber, and I just want to be sure it is a matter of in-eligibility and not simply a bug in my account.

Hi pbarnhardt,

The $30 marketplace gift was automatically sent to any accounts that had ever paid for a subscription. It was sent to people who have exclusively paid and to anyone who has paid, but then also used a code. So, you may not be eligible if you have been using a code since the beginning. I hope that helps to clarify, but feel free to ask if you have any questions.
