Whenever I open Epic Games Launcher, it says the error from the title. If I click ok and I try to log in, it fails. If I go offline, that doesn’t help because I’m trying to download Unreal Engine. Any ideas? I’ve already tried the “TLS” stuff but that didn’t change anything. Are the servers down or something? Or is it just me?
P.S - When I log in, its giving me this error: Error! Did not get response. Are you connected to the internet?

I found the solution
Try unistaling bitdiffender this fixed the problem for me :). ( And restart the pc ).

I fixed it! I added -http=wininet at the end of the target path. Now the launcher is updating!

Removing your antivirus is not wise. I also use BitDefender and that is not the problem. In fact, I temporarily disabled it to test and it still failed. The solution was given by InterventX: “I added -http=wininet at the end of the target path.” Please try that and see if it works for you now.
