Whenever I try to update, UE 4.7 is not is showing up in the list, what should I do?

Hello :slight_smile:

I was trying to install UE 4.7 on my computer, using the Epic Launcher. I clicked on the “Add Versions” button, and it added a UE 4.5.1 to the list. Then, I clicked on the triangular button for showing a dropdown list of all available engine versions, and UE 4.7 is not in the list, only 4.5.1 and older versions. :confused:

What can I do?

Hi ,

Go the this folder location:

  • :\Program Files\Unreal Engine\Launcher\VaultCache

  • If you see a folder labeled ‘UE_4.7’.

  • Delete it.

  • Restart the launcher and 4.7 should now show up for download.

If the folder wasn’t present or if this didn’t fix the issue, post back here to let us know.
