Error 403 on unrealengine.com

I seem to be getting an error 403 on the unreal engine website.

Any help?

Thanks.

Hello ,

Have you tried to go to https://www.unrealengine.com/ since posting? I just checked the website and it is up at this time, without any errors. Please check again and let us know whether or not you’re able to access the Unreal Engine website or not.

Thanks!

Hey ,

No i cannot access it still. It’s very strange. :expressionless:
It says: Error 403: “Thank you for visiting our site. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the requested service at this time, due to the IP from which this request was originated.” Which is strange since it worked a few days ago.

Have a similar problem,i think it’s depends on location(some of my friends can open site, but i receive this message:Thank you for visiting our site. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the requested service at this time, due to the IP from which this request was originated.

Its been a few days that I’m having the same problem. Only way I could connect is through a proxy.

Hey , well i’m in Lebanon not in Belarus and i have never been denied subscription service from other USA based businesses so i don’t know what’s going on, but oh well i guess i’ll just VPN when i need to open the site and github still works thankfully so i can get the engine.

Hey!

Unfortunately, Lebanon is part of the list that was included in blocked IP addresses. As mentioned on the forums, we are working diligently to obtain the concrete laws since the Engine has had the subscription fees removed.

Here is the complete list:
Belarus,
Cote d’Ivoire (f/k/a Ivory Coast),
Cuba,
Democratic Republic of the Congo (aka Congo-Kinshasa),
Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville),
Iran,
Lebanon,
Libya,
Somalia,
Myanmar (f/k/a Burma),
North Korea,
Sudan,
Syria,
Yemen and
Zimbabwe

If you have any further questions, please feel free to reply. Have a wonderful day!

Hello,

We have found that people in Lebanon and Belarus were IP blocked too aggressively and we will be rectifying the problem for those countries.

I hope that helps!

Great news! Thank you very much for rectifying this issue.
