Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

4.7.1 Scrolls up constant when I create a project (resolved)

When I make a project in 4.6.1 or 4.7.1 my screen scrolls up toward the sky automatically upon entering the editor as if I am holding the right mouse button and looking around making it completely impossible to edit the scene since my view looks straight into the sky. I hold the rmb and move it down and it goes right back up. I have unplugged all usb peripherals to make sure nothing is causing the issue. I have a gtx 760 with core i7 2600 12 gig of ram. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi buckwildn14,

Do you have, or have you ever had, a controller or flight stick plugged in? You can control the viewport camera with a controller and I'm thinking that the right trigger may have been pressed when it was unplugged and the controller driver may think it's still being pressed. The right trigger makes the camera move straight up.

Thanks,

Matt
