At the moment our CrashReporter site is giving me some problems trying to pull up your information based on your call stack so I can see what may be going on. Can you post your Logs and DMP files (Project Folder > Saved > Logs).

Can you post your call stack (with your machine ID), along with you logs and dmp files?

I was never able to pull up Klepothcoder’s crash report and get any further with this one.

Can you also provide any steps that you’re using to reproduce the crash? This would be helpful to see if I can get the same results on my end.

Sure, here are the files :

For now, I am just not able to open any new / existing UE4 project, it always cause this crash.

The last thing I did before getting this issue is running the game in PIE, trying to stop it, and then I got a nice BSOD (first time it happens)

The project was running without error before that, I just don’t know why it happens.

After searching I’m not able to find anything that’s been previously entered, but I do have some suggestions that may help, hopefully.

  • What graphics card are you currently running?
  • Have you update to the latest driver or updated recently before the crash?
  • Since you’re using VR, are you using the Oculus?
  • If so, what runtime have you installed with that?
  • If you are using the Oculus or any VR headset can you unplug that and see if you can load the editor?

I am using a GeForce GTX 870M graphic card, and yes, I did an update just before the crash.

Since my headset (Oculus) is unplugged, I can load the editor !

Great! Just to make sure. If you plug the headset back in, is it still crashing or did this resolve the issue after unplugging the Oculus?
