How large is UE4(Disk space)

I am planning on trying out UE4 for a month soon here, and I need to know about the size of UE4, as I have a 60GB SSD, and im running on 2.5GB right now. Ive heard its ~7GB

Hi DrabWeb,

You can install the launcher to a seperate drive from your SSD if you have one, which will mean that UE4 gets installed to that drive too. For Windows it is 8.7GB on disk, for OSX it is 7.1GB on disk.

Unfortunately at present, content from the market place goes to your My Documents folder. Content Examples is 3.8GB for Windows and for OSX.

Im updating to Mavericks tomorrow, so I will be throwing out alot of useless things. That should give me enough space

my app data folders of unreal engine are more than 120gb and i only have one project

but you will defenely be available to try it out for an mounth,i dont even understand why its 120gb,i had an ssd of 128gb in my old pc and it was fine
