Look on stack, crash happened in your driver Intel Graphics driver igd10umd64.dll (http://www.smartregistrycleaner.com/dll/igd10umd64.dll.html) which called by d3d11 (Direct3D). I know people constantly have problem running UE4 on Intel, but considering driver crashed maybe driver update might help here out

Hey Zellot,

The callstack definitely shows that the crash occurs in your graphics card driver. If after you’ve updated your drivers, you’re still having the issue rest assured I have entered a bug into our system, you can reference (UE-11303) at any time for an update.

If you have any further questions, please reply to this thread.
Have a great day!

Hey Zellot,

I have heard back from the developers regarding your crash. Please provide use with your most recent DxDiag . You can obtain them by typing in ‘dxdiag’ in the search bar from your start menu. Simply run that program and click on the button that says ‘save all information’. Upload the results to your next response.

Also, could you please try to run the editor with -d3debug -log within the target of the program as well? Please send us the log from that attempt, as it’ll be very helpful to troubleshoot the issue you’re experiencing.

If you’re no longer experiencing this issue and you can load UE4 without any trouble, please update this post with those results as well.

Thank you!

I apologize for not updating this earlier, I haven’t had support that actually looked into things after a cursory exploration so I figured this was off the table. You’re initial answer was correct however, and although Toshiba makes it nearly impossible to update the driver, I found that you can through the Toshiba Service Station, but not by directly downloading the updated driver… odd but it works now. Thank you for your continued effort on this. The editor still crashes once in a while, but that is probably due to older hardware and performance tuning (or lack of) on my end.

Z

Hey Zellot,

Thank you for letting us know how you resolved your issue. I will update the developers with this information. I’m glad that you were able to update the the driver and get everything working on your Toshiba.

If you have any further questions, just let us know!
Have a great day!
