Why is UE4 blocked in Lebanon?

Hi,
I came from this forum post:

They asked me to post a thread here.

Since 4 days:

The unreal engine website does not open with out the use of a proxy or I’ll get: “Thank you for visiting our site. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the requested service at this time, due to the IP from which this request was originated.”
I can’t login in the unreal engine launcher.
I can’t download UT4 or anything else.

Last time I checked Lebanon is not blacklisted or something. And other U.S. companies still trade with us,
I am working on a deadline and I can’t keep using VPN for long.

We’re looking into it, but unfortunately at this time I don’t have a specific time frame.

They are working on it, it should be fixed in these couple of days.

I would like to add this as a reminder about why Unreal engine website is blocked in Lebanon ?

The launcher can connect but the website is still blocking. Wait a day they will fix the website too.

I can confirm Lebanon has been added to the drop down list, the launcher and the website are working fine.

The launcher works fine now, but the website is under maintenance mode.
