Cannot install UE4 on win7

I cannot install the launcher, I have tried running as administrator. Tried installing to a different drive.

It installs really quickly but maybe about 90% it pops up an error saying the below

then it rolls back the install., I have recently reformatted but have installed all my other dev tools with no problem?

I have generated the logfile here but this site will not let me upload it.

HI MikeDog,

Please take a look at this post and try 0xDEADBEEF’s solution. They experienced a similar error and it was dealing with DirectX.

Cheers mate, Disabling dx fixed the issue. Downloading now :stuck_out_tongue:
