Normal Maps create artifact/improper rendering on decals spawned via BP

For the life of me I couldn’t figure out why a decal that was spawned via BP was just a flat dark grey color.

If you simply create a new BP, add the Event Play connected to Spawn Decal at Location, if it has a normal map the color will not be rendered. (The Unreal logo from the demo level is one example that won’t display correctly its gold color correctly)

Normal maps on normally placed decals in a level display fine.

Hello, I am testing this issue, but I have a few questions. Can you please post a screenshot of the setup that spawns the decal in the eventgraph? Also an image of the incorrect rendering would be good to see. Which material exactly did not render correctly for you? Any additional information may help.
