UE4 starter material textures very large on imported model

When I create a model in blender, create a UV map, and import as .fbx to UE4 and apply a starter material to the model, the texture is very large. I have attached a screenshot demonstrating the issue. My model is on the left and a BSP box with the same dimensions as my model is on the right. The same polished wood texture is applied to both object. I have also attached a blender screenshot of my UV map. What do I need to do to scale down the texture?

Hello Shnerr,

If you double click on the material it will open in the material editor. in the graph all the way to the left is a red node called “texture coordinate”

select this node and look in the details panel on the left side of the material editor

Then just adjust the U and V values until you are satisfied. hit the apply button at the top of the material editor to apply the settings. That should give you the control that you are looking for. If this does not help with your problem or you think of anything else that you would like help with, just ask and I would be happy to try and get it worked out for you.

Thanks,
