4.7.2 iOS mobile Provision not matching

I have just installed 4.7.2 update on windows 7 64 bit and restarted the machine. I had the same issue on 4.7.1

I changed my BundleIdentifier from my previous tv.plastique.* to com.plastique.McAllenPalms per what the iPhonePackager log says it’s looking for. This produces less errors but still get the dreaded yellow checkmark of death.

I have also issued new App ID and Mobile Provision based on this bundle ID. Yoiu will notew I’m not using the wildcard anymore per the hotfix, though I DID try it just in case before issuing the new App ID and mobile provision.

It may be related, but I cannot tell if the iPad should be seen by the tool as described here:

Thank you for your eyes and brains.

Hi,

There are two separate things here. Let’s start with the provision itself. The Provision List inside of the Editor is now the appropriate way to Import and Verify a provision and provides the most up-to-date information. IPhonePackager’s import and check marks are deprecated and on longer supported. We still have IPP for legacy purposes, but it will be going away in a future release. So, if the Provision List is green in the editor, you should be good to go as far as packaging a game (and that looks to be the case). Try Launch On or File | Package | IOS in the editor to verify this. If that fails, then there is something else wrong that we missed. Post a log of that attempt here and that will help me figure it out what is wrong.

The second image, scanning in IPP. You most likely have iTunes 12.1 installed. They changed how the device detection is done in iTunes 12.1 and we have a fix for it, but it didn’t make it in to 4.7.2. I’m looking to get it in to 4.7.3 and then your devices should show up again.

Thank you VERY much. Another iPhonePackage error occurs during the build but I’ll post that separately. Thank you.
