How to make a sample project a "My Projects" project

Basically I cloned a sample project and wanted to make that my main project. The clone is then placed under the sample projects. I want to move this sample project to “My Projects”. Is this possible?

Hey Prantare,

After reviewing your request, the easiest way for you to get the ‘Blueprints’ sample into your ‘my projects’ area would be to create a ‘blank project’. Once you’ve done that, open the ‘Blueprints’ sample and then go into the ‘Content Browser’ to the bottom, left side of the Editor. Click on ‘Content’ and then select ‘Assets’, right-click and press ‘migrate’. A new window will appear, you’ll just select ‘ok’ and then move it to your newest ‘blank project’ you had just created. You’ll do the same steps for the ‘Maps’ folder as well.

Please keep in mind that this method would not work for a sample such as ‘ShooterGame’, this is because C++ does not migrate over very well.

With that being said, I’m going to review our feature requests, and request for that to be put in, or viewed as a bug. I appreciate you pointing this out to us.

If you have any further questions, please reply to this thread.
Thanks!
