Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to import Blender non-skeletal animation?

One part of my mesh has non-skeletal animation done in Blender, how to import it into UE? I don't see any importer options for rigid mesh animations. Before finishing this asset, i would like to know if this is even possible? I hope so :) alt text

Hi,

I was trying to find answers about animation importing myself today (FBX file) and didn't find much answers thats why I posted a question myself.

However, ontopic. I came across something that might help you.

According to a post I found earlier there is no support for vertex animations yet. According to this trello page it will be added around august/september (if I'm not mistaking).

Hope this was of any use to you.

Olaf.
