I’m editing material and I used a greyscale image as height map to create normals,
As I increase normal intensity, I see wider artifacts.
This is an example of artifact.

This is my current material setup.

Any advice would be nice. Thanks
Hey mindblender -
From it looks like the Height Map you are using is not seamlessly tilable. Have you tested it with the Offset tool in Photoshop? You can also try to adjust the UV offset to lower than 0.005 which is the default value. Using a lower value should decrease the normal’s X and Y offsets and will help some, but adjusting the texture itself would be your best bet.
Thank You

Yes, UV offset could mitigate somewhat but, as I zoom in, I could still the issue. I replaced the height image with another texture just to confirm if the problem is the image itself. Indeed, the problem went away after the replacement. Thanks for the answer.
