How to stop the view vibrating when walking backwards?

Hi All

Is it normal for the view to vibrate from side to side when walking backwards? The effect isnt terrible if the view is of scenery,but if there’s a character in view, there’s a bad rippling effect.

Which version of the engine are you on and is this on an example map?

This sounds like you have some extreme motion blur settings (which are extreme by default) in your post process settings (or maybe not even a post process volume at all). This could also be related to using TemporalAA anti-aliasing and might be reduced if changed to FXAA.

That sounds likely, I’ll check it out. 4.7, the project is third person template originally, but I’ve done nothing to those settings so its probably that. Ta!
