I am trying to use Swarm over the Internet to let my powerful server calculate some lightning stuff, but whenever I try to ping the coordinator I get this at the agent:
[Ping] Communication with the
coordinator failed, job distribution
will be disabled until the connection
is established
Do I have to open some ports?

Been trying to get this set up as well, you need to forward ports 8008 and 8009. For some reason it only connects properly when running the coordinator on my VDS, most likely something to do with putting the coordinator behind a router. For some reason it doesn’t want to actually build on the server for me though, even though the coordinator sees it and lists it as available. Hopefully you will have more luck.
