Is it possible to stop period and comma keys from cycling tools in the landscape editor?

I use a dvorak keyboard layout, and use esdf-labelled keys in place of wasd for games usually, so I switched the viewport navigation among other things to better suit me. What I am finding though is the keys labelled e and w (which correspond to period and comma keys respectively) cause the selected tool in the landscape editor to cycle whenever I navigate in the viewport. These keys change the tool regardless of whether or not the right mouse button is being held down.
Am I missing a setting somewhere (I have been through the keyboard shortcut list up and down, and played with any settings I thought could be relevant), or are these shortcuts hard-coded into the editor?

I’m having the exact same issue, did you ever find a solution?

Yep, I’ve spent way too long looking for a solution to this. To conform with the way I do my world navigation in all FPS games, I have to use period and comma for other commands. So the inability to disable the tool cycling they cause (within the landscape editor) is a surprisingly huge issue. Did you ever find a solution?

I unfortunately never found one; I ended up chalking it up to another thing that was going to be disagreeable for me due to my abnormal choice in keyboard layouts. I still dream of the day that I am not punished by the world for having switched to dvorak.

I see this topic is 7 years old now, but I just wanted to share that this is still an issue to this day. As a fellow Dvorak user, this is a real pain in the butt. I also haven’t found a way to remove comma and period from cycling between landscape tools and it’s forcing me to use QWERTY for this.

UE is the most advanced game engine in the world, but if you do something as simple as using a different keyboard layout, you’re screwed. Come on now.
