Problem when converting Particle Systems to GPU Systems

I was following the YouTube tutorial for Particle Systems:

There is a step where you switch the normal particle system into a GPU particle, delete the incompatible nodes and add new collision after making a bounding box.

In 4.7.2 the particle system breaks and does not bounce. It is like the collision does not take hold at all.

When rebuilding the system from scratch as a GPU system it works fine though.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue. I can convert the CPU particle and add a new Collision module without any problems with collision. Can you post a screenshot of the setup of your converted GPU system?
