Broken Content Browser and asset discovery

When I create a new “Blank” project with standard content, only the Architecture folder gets discovered and show up in the Content Browser (see first two images below.) Despite that all content has been copied upon project creation to the project folder (see the last image below.)

The behavior is the same for both Epic Games ‘release’ branch (at commit d69f9771ba) as well as 3dluvr ‘4.7-linux’ branch (at commit af9f41e6c5) as shown below.

Additionally, in the first project I created (originally created in the Epic build, but it is the same if I open it in the 3dluvr build) the Content Browser has somehow become broken and does not show up at all (see the third image below.)

quick workaround:

Menu bar->Window->Content Browser ->Content Browser 2

This shows all content, at least for me.

4.7.2 compiled on Linux Mint 17.1 cinnamon

Hi guys, I have the same problem that Dahnielson is describing. I tried opening a new Content Browser from the Window but this didn’t work for me on Mac. Is there any other way you guys know to address this issue? Thanks a lot

i have the same issue !
used a blank map and now my content folder is empty no nothing just an empty content folder and the file i imported that works fine, but it if I go and try and save WHAM ! A file/folder may not match any of the following :
CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, NONE,
COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9,
LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, or LPT9. i get this error and I can’t save it

Hi got a big problem win the 4.27 release. textures are blank and I can only create textures using the Compression Settings in RGB no rRGB. Importing textures also same thing.
