Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

What Happened to the Near Clipping Plane on SceneCapture2D?

I went to set up this feature and didn't see it. After doing some research I saw it was available in UE3. Is it something that's just not exposed to blueprint / details pane, or is the functionality gone altogether?

Gonna go ahead and bring this up again since I'm still working on a feature that would benefit from this. :)

Hey Divo,

Just checking in to see if you resolved/answered your own question and or if we can close this since you mentioned you will bring it up again? Let us know how we can further help. One suggestion is to open up the Reflections examples in the Content Examples and check out example 1.7:

https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Resources/ContentExamples/Reflections/1_7/index.html

Hope this helps explain the feature a bit better.

Hey, the near clipping plane still doesn't exist in the editor, but did in UE3. I've heard that it can be accessed via code, but haven't had time to look into it. I would request the near clipping plane as a feature in the future. Thanks for the response.
