Maya animation rigging tool

can i import my own character to maya and use the animation and rigging tool on it if yes how please tell me ?

Absolutely!
Simply open your model, launch the rigging tools, and start placing the joint mover controls to fit your custom mesh. You can hide the mannequin geometry with the button on the interface that toggles his visibility.
Once you’re done placing the controls, and you go to the deformation setup, you’ll need to skin weight your model.
