2 Problems with materials with Transparency ?

Guys, someone could tell me how I solve these two issues of materials with transparency ?

1 Question:
How to make the light (spot) make it incidence , ie the marking light on the mesh material having transparency. Realize that it is not the same incidence of light as it is on the wall.

Below is the video link that demosntra the problem:

2- Issue:
The away the camera to the transparency disappears as the distance .

Hi moderna3d -

Transparent Meshes are lit by their vertices, so in your first example the light is being lit by the vertices of the mesh, to have a more exact positioning of the light increase the amount of vertices in the mesh itself. The same should also help with the second issue you are having as it is the LOD of the mesh and texture which is causing the error because again the number of vertices are decreasing at the distance.

For the second issue, also if you are using a dynamic light there could be an issue of mesh bounds scale that could cause an issue at distances, you would need to increase the bounds of the mesh under its rendering settings in the level viewport details panel. This can be problematic in the long run depending on how much you need to scale it, so manage correctly.

Hopefully this will get you straightened out -
