Middle click on external link does not open the page in a new tab

On Chrome, middle clicking on an external link opens the page in the current tab after a small delay instead of opening it in a new tab.

To reproduce, go to [this page](A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums) and try to middle click the git-annex link. It will open in the same tab. To see the correct behavior, scroll down and middle click the Tutorials category, it will open in a new tab.

Right clicking and selecting open in new tab works as expected for both types of links.

You might need to take off the / before the parenthesis after you open the link, it seems there’s a Stack Exchange bug with the way the link is formatted

Hi Jazzy Josh,

I have used the information you’ve provided to generate the following documentation update request: [UEDOC-1395]. Should this be corrected in the future, an update will be added to this post.

Thanks for your help in resolving this issue.

In the meantime, for anyone where this issue is slowing their progress, in Chrome you can rmb click and choose “Open in a new tab.” Also, this does not appear to be an issue in Firefox.
