[BUG] Replace dialog doesn't soh

Hey, I just wanted to place the material of a widget with an independent material instance, by deleting the old material.
But the replace references dialog doesn’t show any material instances to replace.

Hello ,

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. What version of the engine are you using?
  4. Could you elaborate on the issue you that you are having?
  5. Could you provide a screen shot of the issue?
  6. Are you receiving any errors?
  7. If so, could you provide them to us?
  1. Yes, exactly the same behaviour.
  2. Firstly, I created a new Material. Then I created a UMG widget and put an image widget inside it. I assigned the new Material to the image. After that, I created another material, and created and instance of it. When I now delete the first material and click on Replace references, only the second material is shown but not my material instance. In my project it showed no material instances only materials.
  3. 4.7.2
  4. Like I said, in the replace references dialog, when deleting a material, no material instances are shown to select for replace. I think this should be possible, since they have same behaviour and usage.

  1. No, it’s just this behaviour
