Udk editor has a weird red tint to the window?

For some reason, every time i open udk the windows of the main screen and the content browser have this weird red tint to them and the welcome screen has sort of a dark turquoise tint to it. i cant figure out whats causing it. It does not do this when i use the editor for unreal, just udk. Before i uninstall and reinstall everything has anybody had this/ know how to get rid of it?
