Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Media Textures causing Lag

Hey,

I have a 360* video (2048 x 2048 as its 3d) wraped around a sphere, when playing back in UE4 it's causing HUGE amouns of fps lag and varitation.

I have a feeling Lock-Memcpy-Unlock is causing the lag. I'd love to know how to replace it with RHIUpdateTexture2D. Or a more efficient solution!

Dear ThegummyBear

I used play node for playing my media ( texture media on a cube ) for an intro movie , when the main level loaded up it played with a huge lag , I figured out closing the media player (using Close node ) will fix this issue. This might be helpful for you. regards
