Hello,

We currently don’t allow you to change where the Unreal Project’s directory is located. We are working on a fix to this issue. Until the fix can be implemented, a work-around can be found on this post: How do I change the path when downloading Content Samples? - Programming & Scripting - Epic Developer Community Forums
