New landscapes created at 100 on Z axis?

I was wondering why new landscapes are always created with their locations at X:0, Y:0, Z:100.

What’s the reason for it being raised 100 in the Z axis off the grid?

Is it something to do with physics, lighting or z-kill depth?
It’s not a major issue, but I still think that it’s important to understand if there is a good reason behind it.

Hi achalmers, there’s no special reason except that the green new landscape preview lines will z-fight (flicker) with the editor grid lines, and this was a quick solution.
