Building Lighting Uses 100% of memory and CPU on High End PC

You want it to use 100%, it means it’s using full processing power. it defiantly not use 100% of memory since other software use it. How much in bytes that it use? and if final result is ok?

Also drivers have nothing to do with light building

Everytime i build lighting for my game, it uses 100% of ram and 100% of CPU.

I Have an AMD FX 8320 CPU, 8gb’s of ram, And 4gb’s Video memory on a GTX 970

I Don’t get it, why is this happening? It never used to be like this. And i’m also building lighting on the first person example map. Theres nothing in the map but cubes. Everytime i build lighting windows tells me that “Your computer is Low on memory. Close applications and save files” Or something like that, and than the lighting fails to build.

i’m using 4.7.2

Well, when i open up task manager everytime i build light, it uses up the whole 8gb’s of ram. And than windows stops the light build and it says “Your computer is low on memory, Close applications and save your files” And than the lighting build fails. It uses up so much memory that windows tells me i’m low on memory. This never used to happen to me before.

It does this to me too and my cp specs are a lot stronger than yours. I noticed it didn’t really make it impossible to run programs still, for me I was able to build the lighting and even tho it was at 100% usage I was able to run a video on youtube, have pandora running and had a video playing at the same time without stutter or lag. I have a i7 5930k ,16gb of ddr4 3200mhz, and a EVGA 980ti sc. Did you test other programs while running it?

You should change the title. Your problem isn’t that you’re hitting 100%,it’s that it’s failing to render. Your PC is far also from High-End, I wouldn’t even call mine high end anymore.
I have 24GBs and I think it still maxes with a R9 290 and I5-4690K.

Good luck.
