Problem when Importing model from Maya

I’m very new to modelling but have been creating very basic objects/buildings. I’m having a problem when importing a prison cell, everything imports fine but when i go inside the cell the walls are invisible, the outside faces are visible but when inside they disappear. Help would be appreciated

I think you create model with zero thickness wall. You need rebuild you model and add thickness.

I’ve enabled all my material to be 2 sided, but unfortunately I’m still having the same problem. I can’t find the double sided function with 3ds Max, and I was wondering if you could tell me where it is. I did open up the fbx into Maya, and the double sided checkbox was already ticked, so I am very confused at this point.

You can do this with a shader inside UE.

I’m such an idiot, I didn’t realize that I could open up the textures that I’ve already applied to my cabin. This has sorted the issue! :slight_smile: Now to add collision boxes to the cabin. :slight_smile:
