Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to create a reward after a race?

Hi everyone. I'm looking for help on how to create a reward after a car race. I want to create a reward depending on your score or experience points whatever you want to call it. Then after you get an award it will show in your garage or inventory. If anybody know of a blueprint scripting solution i will really appreciate it if they can share it. Thanks for your time.

What part of this do you actually need help with? I assume you have a racing game already with a garage/inventory system and you just want to know how to store data and do the math to choose a reward?

Um.. This is going to be i bit difficult to explain.. and English is not my first language so excuse my spelling lol. I modeled a house and the character start point is in that house. I want him to do his mission and when his done i want to give a reward at the end of the mission like a new car or a new weapon etc.. At the end of the mission when he won a car for example it must says that the new car is in his garage... or maybe just unlock the car in his inventory.. I don't know if this is to much to ask but if there's a way i will be very happy.

I am having difficulty understanding which of these systems already exist. Do you already have your character able to do missions with an inventory and you just want to know how to make a system for unlocking content?

Yes. For starters, I set up 3 enemy UI when i kill the last 1 i want to give my character a reward, i have an inventory, i have set up when i shoot an enemy i get points. but the reward is going to be tricky.. I want to give a reward based on your level points.

Hi Marno, is your Game a local Game or an Online Multiplayer game because depending of that it completely different, if it's local you can simply use the Game Mode or Game instance to award your character

Hi Golgoth, I've done some research about that and found what I'm looking for. It's not easy, I found a lot of basics but it will do. Thanks a lot.
