iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 resolutions are different

We were deploying our game on iOS devices and found out that resolutions for iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 were of different aspect ratios which made our build appear differently on both the devices. On finding out more we experimented with the ‘DPI’ curve to adjust the resolution but were not able to get the desired result. We’ve built our entire game as per iPhone 5 resolution aspect ratio i.e. 16:9 aspect ratio.

Is there any DPI curve setting which can help us directly adjust the aspect ratio and make our UI appear consistent?

We’re using Unreal Engine 4.5.1

I have just attempted a repro the issue and have been successful in doing so. I have written Bug report UE-12124 and placed the report into our bug database so that it may be resolved in a future release.

At this time I am uncertain as to when this issue may be resolved but I will be sure to keep you posted as I know more.

Just wanted to check on this issue with you. Are you looking to have the have the project’s UMG auto adjust to the screens resolution or are you looking to set up the UMG in editor so that you may be able to adjust the project before packaging and deploying?
