Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Failed to load '/Script/UMGEditor' - Dedicated server model

I have done a bit of research on this and it might be something that has been around for a while. Is this still a known bug when using widgets and a dedicated server model?

If it is not something that is already being addressed, I would be happy to share the test project that generated it.

Hello Purecyn,

I have a few questions to help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. What version of the engine are you using?

  2. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?

  3. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?

  4. Could you elaborate on the issue that you are experiencing?

Version 4.7.3 Yes Project Attached (clean project) here The issue is that the project is crashing when playing.

I am not sure what settings carry over in the project but once it is loaded make sure the “Play” settings are one player, play as client, run dedicated server. This will generate the crash.

Hello Purecyn,

After a bit of digging I found that this is a known issue (UE-11311) and that it has been submitted to the developers for further consideration. Thank you for your time and information.

Im getting the exact same error when trying to launch a dedicated server with UE4Editor-Cmd Game -server -log

Any progress on this? We see this all the time on our iOS build. (I couldn't find anywhere to view status of existing issues)

I went ahead and double checked on this issue for you. It appears that issue has been resolved. The solution should be available in the 4.8 version of the engine. I hope that this information helps.
