I sounds like you are trying to download an engine version and during the download/install process it gets stuck at the Verifying step, is that correct?
First off, which engine version are you trying to install?
Also, try the steps in this section of the troubleshooting guide.
If nothing works, we need a few things. Post a copy of your dxdiag (system specs).

Windows: Go to the Start menu and type ‘dxdiag’ into the search bar. Open that file and then click ‘Save All Information’. Post that text file here.

Mac: Go to the Apple menu and click ‘About This Mac’.
Then follow the directions towards the bottom of the troubleshoot guide to generate your Debug logs and post them here.

Okay, first thing to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1. I don’t see it listed in your specs and it’s required to run install the editor.
Afterwards, let me know if it works for you or not.
My windows service pack 1 was already installed, however I relaunched the launcher and it finally finished (for some unknown reason). It might be that my launcher was just glitched out, thanks for helping!
Okay, I’m glad it started working. We will consider this resolved for now but if this issue pops up again, just post back here to let us know.
