Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey Tiii,

Can you post your crash log for us to look at? If you don't mind, could you give us your exact steps for creating the new Matinee using previous Matinee data?

Thanks,

Ben Halliday

Hi there!

I am experiencing this issue as well. I have managed to identify the problem -- using alt+drag to duplicate a matinee actor or copy/pasting a matinee actor in viewport will cause the current level to become corrupted. I have also found that moving a matinee from one level to another will permanently corrupt the level as well. The editor will allow you to continue working as if nothing has happened, but as soon as you restart the editor you will find that your files have been destroyed.

Hi r4ptur3,

I have attempted to reproduce this but unfortunately could not recreate it. Would you mind posting your dxdiag and your logs so we can have a look? Did you recreate this in a blank project with no additional content? Thank you!
