How to disable v-sync for GPU profiling?

Just a quick question:

I try to find some GPU bottlenecks. Therefore I disabled v-sync in the Nvidia control panel and tried to switch it of in the console with ‘r.vsync 0’. But UE4 still locks to my display’s refresh rate (no tearing visible, framerate 30/60/120 fps).

It’s the same when I run the game as standalone.

Version: 4.7.3

EDIT: Added bug report tag as r.vsync 0 has no effect.

Try t.MaxFPS 150

BTW, I just tried this in 4.8 and it works fine. Toggling vsync on my project took the GPU time from 16.67 to 9.7ms. In another scene, it appeared to not be working, but that was just because the GPU time spent was the same as the vsync
