Launcher error "Unreal Engine stopped working"

I’ve installed UE4 using native launcher app. It shows “Unreal Engine stopped working” message then followed by “application start error (0xc000001d)” popup. What should I do to solve this problem?
My specification is:
Windows 7 professional 64bit,
cpu core i7-4770 haswell quad core, dimm ddr3 4gb, gtx650 ti 1gb ddr5.
I’ve also installed VCredist2013, but problem is still here.

Hi Horus,

Another user also experienced the exact same error you are having:

He managed to resolve his issue by installing the VS2013 Redistributable package: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Can you confirm that the above is the version that you have installed?

Thanks

I’ve installed exactly this version. For now i have: MS Visual Studio Express 2012, VC Redist 2005, VC Redist 2005 x64, VC Redist 2008 x86, VC Redist 2008 x64, VC Redist 2010 x86, VC Redist 2010 x64, VC Redist 2013 x86 VC Redist 2013 x64

Hi Horus, I believe you’re receiving this because you need to install Windows 7 SP1, can you try installing it and let us know if it works?

Yep, this works! Thanks, Carlos!

Same issue here. Installing Win7 SP1 fixed it for me as well.

Thanks!
